Encounter Note Editor Hotkey List
The following are commonly used keyboard shortcuts in the
encounter editor.

'^' or <Ctrl>+'/' -
Initiates a mapping of the word preceding the insert caret.

<Ctrl>+<Shift>+'/' -
Pops up a menu of possible mapping strings for the word preceding the
insert caret.

<Ctrl>+'.' -
Inserts a template.
The template name is the same as the word preceding the insert caret.

<Ctrl>+<Shift>+'.' -
Pops up a menu of template names that match the word preceding the insert caret.

<Tab> -
In the encounter note editor, <Tab> advances to and selects the first field
following the current selection.

<Shift>+<Tab> -
In the encounter note editor,
<Shift>+<Tab> advances to and selects the first field
preceding the current selection.

<F4> -
Close the note.
If changes were made, they are saved first.

<F8> -
Close the note.
If changes were made, the user will be prompted whether or not to save
the changes.

<Ctrl>+'k' -
Collapse the note.
-
<Ctrl>+'l' -
Collapse multiple blank lines into a single blank line.

<Ctrl>+<Shift>+'k' -
Collapse the note and collapse multiple blank lines into a single blank line.

<Ctrl>+'d' -
Open a new 4C client session to create a new document reference.

<Ctrl>+'t' -
Open the template search dialog.

<Ctrl>+'o' -
Open the selected document or template.
This only works when the focus is in the document or template list
window.

<Ctrl>+'p' -
Print the document or template.

<Shift>+<F12> -
Test Template or Show Encounter note summary.

<Ctrl>+'s' -
Save the current document or template.

<Ctrl>+<Shift>+'s' -
Save all edited documents or templates.

<Shift>+<F1> -
Goto the "Subjective" section of the note or template.

<Shift>+<F2> -
Goto the "Objective" sectiosection of the note or template.

<Shift>+<F3> -
Goto the "Assessment" section of the note or template.

<Shift>+<F4> -
Goto the "Plan" section of the note or template.

<Ctrl>+<Tab> -
Indent the selected paragraph 1/8 inch more than currently indented.

<Ctrl>+<Shift>+<Tab> -
Indent the selected paragraph 1/8 inch les than currently indented.
In addition, the following common edit shortcuts are also used.

<Ctrl>+'c' -
Copy the current selection to the clipboard.

<Ctrl>+'x' -
Delete the current selection and copy it to the clipboard.

<Ctrl>+'v' -
Paste.
Replace the current selection with whatever is in the clipboard.

<Ctrl>+'z' -
Undo last action.

<Ctrl>+'y' -
Redo most recent undo.

<Ctrl>+'f' -
Initiate the find dialog.
-
<Ctrl>+'n' -
Find next occurence of most recent searched for text.
